Tile Theory is a free 2048-style number puzzle on a four-by-four board. Slide the tiles, combine matching numbers, and work toward a 2048 tile. After reaching the target, you can continue exploring higher numbers.
How to play
Use arrow keys, WASD, direction buttons, or swipe on the board. Equal tiles combine once per move: two 2s become a 4, and two 4s become an 8. A fresh tile appears after a valid move. A blocked swipe does not add a tile. The merged values add to your score.
Common questions
Can I undo a move?
Yes. Undo restores the board and score before the last move, including the newly spawned tile. Up to 20 moves are retained.
When does a round end?
A round ends when every cell is occupied and no neighboring tiles can combine. You can undo or start again.
